South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron has tragically been found dead at her home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on Sunday. She was 24 years old.
According to police, Kim’s friend discovered her body at around 4:50 p.m. and immediately contacted authorities. While the cause of death is under investigation, police have reported no signs of a break-in at the scene.
Kim Sae-ron, born in 2000, began her career as a child actor in 2009 and quickly gained recognition. She rose to fame with notable roles in the 2010 film The Man from Nowhere and the 2012 thriller The Neighbor. Her most recent work was in the 2023 series Bloodhounds.
Her career faced a setback following a drunk driving incident in May 2022, leading to a fine of 20 million won ($13,850) imposed by the court in April 2023.
